Airport jet tug operator, serving subpoenas to court, School bus driver, candy store manager, house church pastor, state fair carnie, MLB stadium tour guide, scared rock climber, thrift store-ian, deep wilderness camper, black bear hunter, South American missionary, mega church worship leader, mentor to millennials, Dad of 3, Married to his high school sweetheart.

Chaz Lowder is an eccentric leader with plenty of stories to share. His start in broadcasting came Saturday mornings on the college campus with first professional opportunity on the Minneapolis sports talk station KFAN on cold December night in 2001 after a Timberwolves game. Eventually landing his first on-air opportunity at an oldies station KODJ the super hits of the 60s and 70s in Salt Lake City, Utah. Then at his first Christian station KDUV (now Spirit Fm) in Visalia, California. Followed by shorter stints at Jack FM and Salem communications in Minneapolis. Later he served as an on-air host and the Coordinator of Creative Services at KTIS in St. Paul, one of the largest Christian radio stations in the United States.

Today Chaz serves as the afternoon drive host for PraiseLive. This worship format has frequencies in Minneapolis, western Minnesota, Illinois and Montana. This smaller radio network based in rural Osakis, Minnesota has a huge international reach with over 100 radio stations carrying PraiseLive programming across the continent of Africa.

When not picking up kids from jujitsu or work, attending band concerts, dance recitals or having a date night with his wife of 20 years…Chaz loves pastoring his house church, mentoring millennials and training future Christian broadcasters.
